Join writer, producer and director John Scheinfeld on Friday, May 11, at 8:00 p.m. for a special screening of The U.S. vs. John Lennon, a rockumentary chronicling the FBI's secret campaign against the outspoken Beatles front man.

Proceeds go to NFOIC and WCOG to aid us in our efforts to protect every citizen's right to an open government.

The $19.95 purchase price includes ticket price and service charge of $0.99 and 2.5% per ticket.

Update: Tickets can be purchased the night of the event at the door. The price will be $20, or $10 w/ a valid student ID.

The U.S. vs. John Lennon is a compelling and provocative documentary about Lennon's transformation from beloved musical artist to anti-war activist to iconic inspiration for peace and recounts the story of the U.S. government's illegal efforts to silence him.

This groundbreaking film features interviews with Carl Bernstein, Noam Chomsky, Walter Cronkite, Mario Cuomo, Angela Davis, John Dean, Ron Kovic, G. Gordon Liddy, George McGovern, Yoko Ono, Bobby Seale, Gore Vidal and others.

The film, produced by Authorized Pictures for Lionsgate Entertainment and VH1, was an Official Selection of the 2006 Venice Film Festival, the 2006 Telluride Film Festival, the 2006 Toronto International Film Festival, and the 2006 Boston Film Festival.

The movie will be shown Friday, May 11, at 8:00 p.m. at the beautiful Nesholm Family Lecture Hall in the Seattle Center at 305 Harrison Street.

A Q&A with Scheinfeld caps what promises to be a memorable evening, and it’s all for a good cause—open government!
